"Keep the Fire Burning"

Before I even arrive in Asia let me tell you a wonderful thing that happened to me .
In the corner store inside my plaza, around mid September, the clerk asks me "anything fun planned for summer, Jesse ?”
It didn’t really make much sense to ask that because summer is technically over in 5 days .

“well, I am going to Bali in around two weeks” .

suddenly, a girl who I have never spoken to or seen before chimed in, “wait, you’re going to Bali ? I was just there !”
I ask to take her to lunch so I can find out all the info from her, since I have no idea what I’m doing .
We meet the next day and she tells me how she did the trip, which was a focus on yoga and living in a shared residence .
While those weren’t exactly the elements I wanted for my trip, she did give me someone who would change my trip immensely .
My driver, my friend, my man, Chalik . God is already smiling on me, I can feel it !!!! :P

Amira from Los Angeles saw I was in town and invited me to an outdoor dance party . Of course at this point I was accepting every invitation and excited to go to everything so I agreed . I asked Akira to join me and when we got there she looked around and said, "Jesse I don't want to be here" . I remember laughing because she almost said it immediately, but I get it . I mean, in the photo you can see everyone barefoot - it was some hippy shit for sure accompanied by some percussion EDM that she absolutely hated . I was willing to make the best of it and hang with Amira but sadly all I got was quick photo of her and we left :P
